teaching staff who are allocated persons responsible facilitating the drill
(fire)
Actions to take are recorded for reference
during a drill (on back of daily sign in form)
A time after each drill is set aside for
teaching staff to discuss what and why drills are regular happenings

Main action from review:

Reflect on the laminated reference forms- are they useful/do
we need to include something else? Acknowledge that all adults do not evacuate
during a drill (i.e. when on morning tea/administrative) does this need to
change in practice or in written documentation?

Earthquake drill includes banging two blocks together- is
this practical? Additional support systems in the community- are we familiar
enough with these? Do we need to invite a person from the community to talk
about who and how to make contact that would be most useful in the time of an
emergency?

Key points:

When a preserved non-compliance or concern
arises there is a procedure to go through
The procedure is available for perusing on the
wall or the Centre policy folder
In the case of no satisfactory action, and
