Complaints

Complaints procedure:    Date- 20.01.11

In the case of a complaint relating to non-compliance of licence conditions Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 2008 not being met;

or there is a general anxiety or problem please follow the guidelines below:

  1. Discuss anxiety or problem with the staff member you feel most comfortable with.
    • if there is no satisfactory resolution,
  2. Ask for a time to be made to discuss the matter further with management,
  • again in the case of no satisfactory resolution arrived at,
  1. bring this to the licensee’s attention,
    • still no satisfactory resolution,
  2. Present your ideas as an item of general business to the next Centre Meeting in a written format where it will go onto the agenda to be investigated, or if requiring immediate attention in writing directly to licensee who will commence investigation and organise a follow up meeting with feedback & action planned;
    • If still unresolved you may wish to contact the Ministry of Education who is available for best outcomes of children/tamariki & their families/whanau.
